Bill Anderson is sharing his knowledge and memories with PBS. A post on the country star's website says he's one of several artists contributing to an upcoming, multi-part documentary detailing the history of country music.
Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan are developing the project. They were also behind several other award-winning PBS series, including "The Civil War" and "Baseball."
The new series is expected to explore the evolution of country music, from its roots to today. But it'll be a while before the series will hit the tube. The untitled show is slated to debut on PBS in 2018.
