(New York, NY) -- Airline passengers may soon see relaxed restrictions on the use of mobile devices during flights. The FAA will take up the issue next week after it receives a recommendation from an advisory group. Currently, it's required passengers shut off e-readers, tablets and other electronics below ten-thousand feet to prevent interference with plane instruments. The agency will get the report on Monday, but it will not include recommendations on wider use of cell phones.
