Friday, June 30:

Lynchburg: Fireworks on the Riverfront, Riverfront Park, Jefferson St., food/music/activities start at 6:00 pm, Fireworks start approx. 9:15 pm 

Rocky Mount: Rotary Independence Festival, Franklin Co High School, food and live music at 5:00 pm, Fireworks at dark

Saturday, July 1:

Appomattox: Firefighters & Fireworks, Liberty Field, 5:30 pm until 10:00 pm, food trucks, free activities, followed by Fireworks

Lynchburg: Military Appreciation Night, Lynchburg Hillcats, Bank of the James Stadium, game time: 6:30, post-game fireworks

Smith Mountain Lake: Fire WORX Fest, Downtown Moneta, Gates open at 5:30 pm, Admission: $15, food, drinks, live music from 6-10 pm, Fireworks immediately following

Sunday, July 2:

Lynchburg: Celebrate America, Thomas Rd Baptist Church, food trucks, music, activities starting at 5 pm, Fireworks at dusk

Moneta: All American Festival & Fireworks, Spring Valley Farm, 4pm-10pm, FREE event with food, live music, activities, Fireworks at dusk

Pembroke: Fireworks Celebration, Mountain Lake Lodge, live music at 6:30, Fireworks at dusk

Roanoke: 2023 Freedom Festival, Rivers Edge Park, 5pm - 9:30pm; FREE event with food, live music, and kids' activities, Fireworks begin at 9:30 pm

Smith Mountain Lake: Fireworks at Mitchell's Point Marina, 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Smith Mountain Lake: Independence Day Boat-In Concert, Coves Amphitheater, Free live music starting at 4:00 pm, accessible only by boat

Monday, July 3:

Bedford: Fireworks at Liberty Lake Park, park at the tennis courts, Fireworks at dusk

Clifton Forge: Fireworks Show, C&O Railway Heritage Center, food/music starting at 6:00 pm, Fireworks at dusk

Lovingston: Fireworks by Lovingston Vol. Fire Dept., Nelson County High School, 9:15 pm

Lynchburg: Red White and Boom Night, Lynchburg Hillcats, Bank of the James Stadium, game time: 6:30, post-game Fireworks

Tuesday, July 4:

Blacksburg: 4th of July Parade and Fireworks, Municipal Park, 2 pm Parade Downtown Blacksburg, live music from 6:30 - 9:30 pm, Fireworks at dark

Brookneal: Independence Day Celebration, Red Hill, 3 pm to 9:30 pm, Admission: $10/car, Fireworks at 9:15

Buena Vista: American Legion Post 55 Fireworks, Rodeo Grounds, Fireworks at dusk

Buena Vista: Independence Day Concert and Fireworks, Glen Maury Park, 6pm - 9pm, Admission: $5, Fireworks at dusk

Buchanan: Buchanan Community Carnival, Buchanan Town Park, Parade on Main St. starting at 5:00 pm, Fireworks at 10:00 pm

Christiansburg: Fourth of July Celebration, 10 am - 4 pm on Main St with food trucks, vendors, kids' activities, Fireworks at 9:15 pm at Huckleberry Park
