A car thief in Florida stole a man's sportscar right out of his driveway but later showed that he's not totally without morals.
Larry Carter Jr. says someone stole his 2023 Dodge Charger overnight. The car was his most prized possession and he turned it into a little bit of a moving tribute to his late mother with her name emblazoned on the car and even an urn of her ashes in the cup holder. As you could imagine, Larry was distraught that someone had stolen the car.
But then a day later, Larry noticed something in his mailbox and found that the thief had returned the ashes. The car wasn't returned, but it appears the thief at least felt a little bad about swiping his dear mother's ashes. Larry is still hoping the car will eventually be returned but says he's happy to at least have his mother's ashes back. (WTVJ-TV - Miami)
