Scientists at San Diego State University have discovered that Twitter posts can be used to accurately predict the locations of flu outbreaks across the country – which, if you think about it, isn’t very surprising.
When Twitter users are sick, they just can’t help telling the world and tweeting out words like “flu,” “cough,” “sneeze,” or “sore throat.” (HuffingtonPost.com)

According to a new survey, more Americans still prefer to work for a male boss - but the gap is narrowing.
In the survey, 35% of people said they prefer to work for a man – and only 23% said they prefer working for a woman.
But, this 23% of employees who prefer women is the highest number in the history of the study. (CNN)
