The days of touchdown dances, ball spiking and sack celebrations may soon be a thing of the past.
Over the last several years, the NFL has instructed officials to be stricter in enforcing unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, and it appears the guys in the striped shirts aren't going to allow any of those extracurricular activities this season. The idea is to cut down on players taunting the opposition.
Players are being warned about performing some of the most common moves such as: sack dances, the home run swing, the ball spike, pointing, standing over an opponent and even the military salute. Not only that, but officials may even determine spinning the ball to be taunting. But is this just the NFL making the game less fun? (NBC Sports)
