A moment of silence for the late George Jones at the "Grand Ole Opry" on Friday and Saturday nights. Both night's shows were also dedicated to the country legend, who died on Friday in Nashville at the age of 81.
Brad Paisley made a surprise appearance during Friday night’s show to pay his respects and sing a medley of the Possum's songs.
Brad, Opry stars, and audience members shed tears throughout the evening as they remembered one of country music's greatest artists.
Funeral arrangements are set for Thursday at 10 a.m. at The Grand Ole Opry House. The service will be be open to the public.
A private visitation will be held on Wednesday night.
George had been a Grand Ole Opry member since 1956 and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1992.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Grand Ole Opry trust fund or the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
